FAQs

What does it mean that the products are entirely self-designed?

Our products are completely self-designed, meaning we don’t work with pre-made templates or designs downloaded from the internet. Every product, including the mechanisms, is created from scratch using a 3D modeling program. This way our spinners are unique, and it also allowed us to revolutionize 3D printed yarn spinners. We built-in a heavy duty metal bearing which makes our products much more silent, wiggle-free, and weight proof than similar products on the market.

What materials are used and why is this sustainable?

We use PLA for all of our spinners which is a plant-based plastic made from resources such as corn starch or sugarcane. This makes PLA a more eco-friendly alternative to traditional petroleum-based plastics, especially since PLA is biodegradable, and its production results in significantly lower carbon emissions.

Note, that PLA (Polylactic Acid) is a bioplastic derived from renewable plant sources, but it is not 100% plant-based in the sense that (depending on brand) it may contain some additives, such as colorants or plasticizers.

Why are there separate parts, and how does this work?

Our spinners are designed with customization in mind. By offering some parts separately, we give you the freedom to swap out parts whenever you like, allowing you to change the look of your spinner without needing to buy a whole new one. This way, you can mix and match parts to suit your aesthetic.

How to assemble a spinner?

Assembling your spinner is quick and easy! All parts fit together seamlessly, and no special tools are required. Every order comes with a card that includes a QR code, which will take you to a step-by-step video showing how to assemble your spinner. If you happen to lose the card, don't worry! The video is also available here
